Review of Google Sites

Google Sites Reviewed 10 Aug 2009 · Average score 66%

Summary

The sign-in to create a website involves a Captcha, but the general log in to Google services is accessible with a keyboard although it is missing labels to help the NVDA screen reader user unless they are using Webbie. The webpage template layout is easy to follow and keyboard access is possible but then mouse use is needed for setting areas on the web pages. Forms do not appear to be labelled but can be seen in WebbIE. Text sizes and levels of contrast are good and this can be continued if the correct website templates are chosen.
